Closet Works has been designing and building closets in Chicago for Chicagoans for over 30 years (est. 1987). The company began with humble beginnings, offering white laminate closets with the distinction that the product was designed and manufactured locally in Bensenville to meet the clients’ space needs. Custom closets, a business then in its infancy, proved to be a popular concept. Sales took off — while the number of product lines and options simultaneously increased. With an eye towards additional expansion across the Chicago market, the business was purchased by the Happ family in 2012. Although the company has evolved into the largest povider of custom organization solutions in the Chicago metro area, everything is still designed and manufactured locally at our factory in Elmhurst, IL. Closet Works’ line-up of products has grown to include custom storage and organization systems for every room of the home and for businesses as well. We also offer the widest range of materials, colors, finishes and accessories for all of our systems. Examples of our products are on display in our Chicago showroom at 2112 North Clybourn Avenue.
